How do I obtain a price for system drawings?


Email your scanned drawings or photos to cad@qdos.biz. We'll respond to you with a fixed price quote for the work required.




How do I obtain a price for zone plans?


For systems up to 10 zones in size, we have fixed prices inclusive of all CAD work in various finishes. Contact us now for full prices




What format should I obtain building drawings in?


AutoCAD DWG is preferred, however we may be able to convert some PDF format files back to AutoCAD. Email files now to cad@qdos.biz for the best price for your project.




I don't have any drawings, can QDOS draw the building?


Yes, we can draw the building either from paper copies of the plans, or from your own sketch of the premises. Just upload any images and drawings you may have via the Priority Portal, and we’ll let you know the best solution for your project.




Is there a minimum order for drawing work?


No, there are no minimum orders for drawing work. We will give you fixed prices for individual sites, or project prices for multi-site work. Our service is ‘pay-as-you-go’, you just pay for the CAD work you need.




How do I pay for the drawings?


We offer 30 day credit accounts (subject to acceptance), or you can pay online via credit or debit card.




Will my drawings have the QDOS logo on them?


No, we never include our logo or details on your drawings. We work with you, not for you, as your CAD department. When you present your drawings to your client or end user, these will be branded with your company identity.




Can completed drawings be sent direct to my client?


Yes, we can post completed drawings and finished zone plans direct to your client. Where required, we will send these with a plain label, with your office as the return address. No reference to QDOS will be sent to your customers.




What format are the finished drawings returned in?


We return drawings for your approval in PDF format, and completed/approved projects in both AutoCAD DWG and PDF formats.




What files do you use?


We can work with existing building plans or re-draw the building using: DWG files - AutoCAD format which are the standard CAD files using the extension .dwg PDF files - Some PDF files are able to convert into AutoCAD format, which can be some original PDF files (created within CAD software) but NOT scanned images. To find out if yours converts please email cad@qdos.biz and we will verify if your file can be converted. Plan2CAD - We can create AutoCAD plans from your customer's old paper copies, scanned drawings or site sketches. Send via scans or good quality photos to cad@qdos.biz or post to our office for a competitive quote. We will return any original drawings at your request, free of charge.

We can work with existing building plans in the following formats, or we can re-draw the building using our Plan2CAD service

AutoCAD format, these are the standard CAD files using the file extension .dwg.

With advances in CAD software it is now possible to convert some PDF files into AutoCAD format. This works on some original PDF files (created from within CAD software) but not on scanned images. If you’re unsure whether your files are original or scanned, email them to cad@qdos.biz, we will verify if they can be converted for you.

We can create AutoCAD plans from your customer’s old paper copies, scanned drawings or site sketches. Send these through as scans, or good quality photos, to cad@qdos.biz, or post to our offices for a competitive quote. We will return any originals, at your request, free of charge.
